We all have a story, but when we encounter trauma in life, it’s almost as though someone or something else has been thrust into our story, and we start to live differently than we would have initially imagined. Sometimes we find our callings as we recover from trauma, and sometimes trauma immobilizes us. Both are possible, and maybe both things happen at the same time. I believe that we can find our callings while immobilized, and that, by writing our way through the immobilization, we can gain perspective and reconnect with purpose and God.
This packet describes the importance of writing for recovery, gives tips on how to get started, and shows what I offer to help professionally through Seahurst Wellness and Education Center, LLC while suggesting other outlets you can pursue.
